Hi team,
We have multiple problems with the 5,000 limit of ideas:
1. A limit of 5,000 ideas for JPD project is too small especially when it comes to migrations from tools such as Productboard where there are tens of thousands of objects we are forced to import as Ideas.
2. The message displayed on top of such projects when the limit is exceeded cannot be dismissed. It is very intrusive and annoying despite the 5,000 ideas limit it is not enforced whatsoever.
3. The "we advise that you archive ideas that you don't need anymore" wont' dismiss the message either. Archiving is useless and will keep the message on top.
Please invest in this limitation and the message itself.
Andrei
Hello @Andrei Bacanu
Thank you for this suggestion. As community champion, I cannot help you here, rather to send you to the right direction. You can make a new request here: https://jira.atlassian.com/issues/?filter=98153
There isn't an option for the cloud however, rather for the server.
Not sure how your response relates or address any of the exposed problems...

The message you are referring to is something that is being shown from the Atlassian's side. The way they code it and how it behaves is solely on how they have designed it. You have stated that the idea limitation and the message itself needs to be addressed. As someone who is a community champion, not the member of Atlassian team itself, I could've only give you the link where you can make the suggestions for the change.

Thanks but no thanks: the JPD product team should be aware of the issue. As a customer I do not care about the internals of it.

I understand that you are annoyed by those things, but this is something I cannot have the influence on.

With respect but I have not asked for your influence - there are multiple problems expressed there that are product related.
