Configure Timeline view header dates to align on non-calendar quarters

I like to use the timeline view as a roadmap view for when ideas are shipping.  However, we align planning on fiscal quarters and not-calendar quarters.  When configuring timeline view, to configure the quarters/months at the header row, I only have the ability to have the quarters be on calendar quarters (Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun etc).  Is there a way to align these fields to be quarters starting on an arbitrary month (Feb-Apr, May-Jul etc..)?

Hi @Seth Mason ,

Unfortunately it's not possible to edit the quarters available in a timeline view to better align with your fiscal year. Calendar quarters are only offered at this time. I'll get this feedback shared with engineering and product.

In the meantime as a workaround, consider selecting the months option/scale in the timeline view related to your fiscal year, then add a marker at the beginning of each quarter:

+1 for this, the Timeline tool is very good, being able to rename the time span columns to align with company reporting would be amazing.  I'd also like to see the option to have alternate column or column group shading as it would greatly improve the readability.  eg

| FY25 Q1 "No shading" | FY25 Q2 "Shaded | FY25 Q3 "No shading" |

@Nick Haller small bug.  If you create a timeline using the monthly view that you described above, starting at Feb 2025 and going through Jan 2026, then create a marker at Feb 1, 2025.  The marker does not appear and you cannot create any subsequent markers unless you switch to another View and come back.
