Jira Cloud Dashboard not following Date Format selected

I have set my Date/Time Format to Date (MM/dd/yyyy) but my Dashboard keeps showing data in MM/DD/YY hh:mm a.

Is there anything I can do to make this only display the Date?

I don't believe there is a way to change this in Jira Cloud yet...still - https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-questions/Date-format-on-Dashboard/qaq-p/2212297
