latency for JPD items has been terrible lately. it's simply become unbearable to move around tickets on roadmaps, edit fields or just do anything because it takes 2-3 seconds before anything works.
i've previously used JPD for roadmapping and it's been a great tool because it's easy to move things around. cards load slowly, columns don't show up, when i edit fields (even this feedback form), it stops working for a few seconds. wasn't a problem before.
i don't know if your intern vibecoded a new backend but it's a significant regression that has made it unusable for any purpose really. i was previously a big promoter of JPD internally, now i fear even mentioning it to people because I fear it will make me look like an idiot!!!!!
Hi @Andreas Schuster , that's not normal - we'll investigate. In order to move fast on this can I please ask you to raise a support ticket as well? this will help us troubleshoot this on your site.
From JPD: Feedback (top right) > choose "get help from the support team" and submit the feedback with a link to this post as well. Tell the support team that the JPD product team asked for access to investigate.
In the meantime we'll look at what we can find from our end
Yes, and...
To benefit the community, please post the root cause and resolution information for this symptom once it is addressed. That may help others who observe (or believe they observe) the same thing, saving them diagnostic time and steps.
Thanks, and kind regards,
Bill

We've only had a couple of those requests in the past few months. First I'd like to rule out a bug. If it's configuration dependent, we'll share, if it's a bug we'll just fix it. Example of configuration that can lead to slow FE performance: chaining formulas together or using a lot of formulas with a lot of ideas. Especially weighted score formulas.
