Hi team,
In the timeline view, I've created an Idea with a project start and project target; however, the idea snaps to the start and end of the month in the view.
Is there any way to change that, so it looks like it conforms to the dates I've provided in those fields? Otherwise, the timeline view is misleading when presenting to my leadership group.
This is by design. There are a number of threads on this topic. For example: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-Product-Discovery-questions/Are-there-plans-to-introduce-a-weekly-view-to-the-timeline-tab/qaq-p/2478478
Yeah, it looks like a gap... It's merely how it presents the data and it seems a lot of people are having the same issue.
Thanks for the answer.

Hi Prachi I have,
the ideas snap to month, you cant have a week by week view... i.e. if you have a start date for an idea in mid-June. on the timeline it'll snap to the start of June which is misleading.
As Jens outlined, there are multiple topics on it and its a gap in functionality.
Thanks for the reply.
