Is there a way to customize the columns used in a board view?

While using Roadmap field for quarters, we would like to also have a board view looking at broader periods (half year, year maybe) - so we would like, for example, to have a column that includes all ideas set in Q3 and Q4 of 2025. Is this possible? We couldn't find a way, except creating another field, populating it through automation, and using it for the new board. The problem is that the automation rule needs to be adjusted each quarter...

Is there a simpler way to do this?
