Is it possible to use different templates for different types?

I have two types within my JPD, both types can be created from a single "parking lot" view. I would like each type to have a different default template.

I can't see how to do this right now, and I think the template is linked to the view where you are creating the item, rather than what type the item is.

Is it possible to align the template to the type within the same view?

Hi @Matt Hadfield

Jira Product Discovery assigns creation templates to specific views rather than linking them directly to different idea types. To show different fields based on the type chosen within a single parking lot view, you should add your type-specific fields as optional fields and use the Type dropdown selector at the top of the creation window to dynamically show or hide them.
