Ideas serves really well to buffer and differentiate between your ideas and feedback from stakeholders, and the actual delivery tickets that are in Jira. This is the way that I use it, and it works really well.
However, I really miss having a full view from our goals to the stories. If I’m using Advanced Roadmaps, I can group by the ideas and I can see the stories, epics, or whatever is in there, but I cannot see the goals that are contained within ideas, and how the ideas are being delivered.
It would be super cool if there were a better way to see, in one view, from the goal to the ideas involved in that goal, and how those ideas are actually being delivered. Right now it’s a little bit difficult to see everything. You have the idea, and then if you enter into the idea you can see which goal is related to that, and then you can see the delivery tickets. But you cannot see the other ideas that are related to that goal, and it gets kind of messy sometimes.
At the beginning, I thought maybe I could input the idea into the hierarchy of ticketing, but that’s not possible. So it would be nice to see if this is something possible, or if I’m missing something.
Hello @Eduardo Garcia Posadas could you provide a screenshot of where you would like to see this information? Are you using the Atlassian Goals or do the goals live somewhere else?
In a JPD you can show the goal that the idea is linked to by adding it to your view and then show the deliver progress form the linked work items.
