Idea import failure

I receive this error message when I tried to import ideas.  Is the default assignee something that I need to set (or have an admin set for me?)

One or more of the selected users do not exist or are not valid for this user picker.; The default assignee does NOT have ASSIGNABLE permission OR Unassigned issues are turned off.; Assignee: The default assignee does NOT have ASSIGNABLE permission OR Unassigned issues are turned off

Hi Rob - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

When you import work items (or I assume Ideas for Jira Product Discovery?) Jira will try to create the user if they don't exist. So in this case, the value in the Assignee column should be an email address or the accountID of an existing user. 

Then for the project you are importing into, that user must have the Assignable permission in the Permission Scheme for the project. Or you can't create an Idea on that project without it being Assigned.
