Hello! We just started our Jira PD Premium trial, and we're loving its potential. We've run into one potential deal-breaker in converting beyond our trial, so I wanted to see if I'm just missing a solution here, and if not, whether this is a feature gap that can be mitigated.
The issue we've encountered is the limited flexibility in defining the group by column summary values when Grouping by.
Our use case:
Are there known/planned solutions for this?
The only 2 we'e thought of so far are less than ideal:
I'm sure there are other options, but some of the ones we thought could help here:
I really appreciate any insight. We really want to make Premium our new plan, but this might be our biggest hurdle so far. Thank you!
Hi Brandon!
Glad to hear you're enjoying Jira Product Discovery so far.
Hierarchies are still in Beta so it's a very recent feature, and we are currently implementing the most requested features (such as better filters, ability to publish views containing connexions etc...)
What you're looking for would a sort of "roll up" of values for all ideas under a certain opportunity, and you're correct that is currently not possible - you've in fact already thought about more workaround than I could think of, but I get those aren't fully satisfying.
Having a "roll up" is definitely something we will explore in the future but we have no ETA for this specific enhancement at the moment.
Best Regards,
Hermance
