Global Connection Field doesn't have option to add context

We have a global connection across projects and an idea level 'experiment' I can add my priority to the experiment but can't seem to do the same for the global connection fields.

Any ideas what I'm missing here?

Okay, we got to the bottom of it. It's a current limitation that you can only do this for a global field if you've got permission to edit the global field (and only Jira admins can do that). We agree it makes no sense, we'll look for another solution. But for now, you'll need to ask an admin to do this for you.
