Connected field filter "match to group" with multiselect on group seems to not work correctly

Hi,

• Board View
• Group by multi-select field - e.g Area
• Type with connected type - Initiative and Phase
• Filter to only show parent type - Initiative
• Parent type ticket with multi-select field set to two Areas
• Connected type ticket with multi-select set to same two Areas 

This works correctly so far, shows the Initiative with phases in both Area groups. 

• Now add filter on connected field (Phase) to "match group" 

Now the phases disappear. However, if I have only a single Area marked on the Phase, that Phase reappears. 

It seems that the "match group" functionality does not handle multiselect correctly. Or I'm doing something wrong, which is more likely :)

Hi ! are you filtering based on group or board columns? 

If that's not the problem, could you please share a Loom or other video recording at tcrusson@atlassian.com to see if I can spot what's going on?

ah no you're right, I can reproduce this, let me discuss with the team!

We've found what the problem is, and we're currently fixing it. It should hopefully work in the next week.
