CSV import for JPD "delivery" ticket links

Hi,

I'm working on a jira merger - have been testing/troubleshooting the Product Discovery (JPD) portion of the merger and have hit a snag with JPD Idea delivery ticket links

In the filter reporting between the JPD idea and the delivery ticket, these show as Inward issue link (Polaris work item link) and Outward issue link (Polaris work item link)

selecting that in the CVS mapping screen doesn't seem to fix it so tickets appear in the delivery tab.

Does anyone know how to configure the sheet to accomplish this?

Hi Gregg,

Luckily I had the same problem recently and have figured out how to get it working.

You can use the 'External system Import' and switch to the Old Experience. Load up your CSV file as you would normally and proceed to the Map Fields page. 

When you are mapping the fields and get to the "Polaris work item link" (in my system its "JPD work item link"), match up the CSV field with the Jira Field, but DO NOT tick the "map field value" checkbox. Complete the rest of the upload process as normal.

Not sure why this works, but if you don't tick that box, it will successfully establish a link between the JPD ticket and the delivery ticket.
