Automation with Connection Fields

If my hierarchy is set up with idea types as follows:

• Product
• Initiatives
• Features

Is there a way to automate setting the Target PI field on the features when the feature is created when the Target PI is added/edited on the related Initiative?

if I understand correctly you want to copy value from the "child" to "parent" and vice versa, please check our this loom that explains he automation rule you can set up to achieve that
