Archive values of a field

Hello !
I would like to know if there is a mean to archive some values of a given multi-select / select field.
For example, we have a Team field which contains list of existing squads.
Overtime, some can be discontinued while new ones can be created.
In order to keep history I don't want to delete the old teams as valid values for old ideas, but still I would like to remove them as not selectable anymore (and avoid a too long list in the options for the field).
Is that possible ?

Hi @Christèle Michel , is this a company managed or team managed project. If CMP go to system settings > work items > custom fields. Find your field and click on the… On the far right. Select contexts and in the next screen click edit options and finally disable those values desired.

you cannot do this in TMP unfortunately.
