Allow different default templates for types of ideas in Jira Product Discovery

Recently, Atlassian has released the possibility to add different types of ideas in JPD, with separate workflows. In our project we have configured a default template for ideas. However, we would also like to configure other default templates for other types of initiatives. Now it seems this is not (yet) possible. Do you think this could be added soon? Do you have an alternative solution?

Hi @Maarten Peters I'm sorry we missed your question. 

As you know types is a fairly recent addition to Jira Product Discovery so it is indeed not possible for the moment and there is no workaround - but we are currently finalizing designs to implement what you're looking for: you'll be able to create different Form according to the type, so you'll be able to define a default template per type. 

We don't have an expected delivery time at the moment because we haven't started, but this is next on our Roadmap.

I'm also expecting this @Hermance NDounga , it's not possible to give the ability to create other types of items to our stakeholders without giving them the associated template by default to guide them.

I'm just going to move this to JPD product/app group and probably someone from JPD product team will chime in here to provide some insights.

But this seems like a good thing to have, as different work types can be added to JPD projects.
