Access Type in Automation

Jena Miller

I would like to have an automation that applies a specific action only to one Type of items in my JPD Project (i.e. in the example hierarchies language, I have an automation that I only want to apply to Bets, not Experiments or Ideas) but `Type` does not seem to be a field I can access in the automation to use in a conditional statement.  Does anyone have a workaround or suggestions?

Thank you very much!

Hi @Jena Miller

I believe Jira Product Discovery (JPD) implements those the same way as in other spaces / projects: with the Issue Type field.  It is the Connections part that is different.

Have you tried adding a field value condition on the Issue Type?

Kind regards,
Bill
