Hi Atlassian Team,

I am trying to install Fisheye Application on my MAC machine.

But I am getting the error related to JAVA_HOME not set properly.

Please find the attached screenshot, and suggest me what wrong I am doing.

Hi @spal16,

This error usually happens in one of the following cases:

  • /usr/libexec/java_home/bin/java is not executable
  • The executable file does not exist
  • The user running FishEye does not have permission to access/execute that file

Can you try to browse to the /usr/libexec/java_home/bin folder and run "java -version"?

You can also find more instructions on how to check and install Java on the Installing FishEye on Linux and Mac page.

Cheers,

Caterina - Atlassian
