Simple question, but important one.
We know the benefits of having JIRA integrated with Fisheye/Crucible, but we would like to know if it makes any sense to use the Fisheye/Crucible without JIRA integration.
Could you sum up what features we would miss if we are not using JIRA.
One more question: can we configure Fisheye/Crucible to store information about item under review by providing http link to such item (in a system outside of Atlassian world)?
Hi Jacek,
you can use FishEye and Crucible without JIRA - they are standalone products.
Depending on the third-party products you want to integrate, you can setup linkers to render issues from your tracker as links (https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/FISHEYE/Linkers), web hooks to notify external systems about new commits (https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/FISHEYE/Configuring+Web+Hooks) and the REST API to query FishEye/Crucible for data and manage reviews from remote apps (https://developer.atlassian.com/display/FECRUDEV/REST+API+Guide)
Fisheye and Crucible are standalone products. It works just fine without JIRA integration. In my opinion you will be just missing the consolidation of your actions associated with a JIRA issue.
If you are willing to write some code you can integrate Fisheye and Crucible with another system other than JIRA.

So, is it possible to link fisheye/crucible with some other bug/work-tracking systems?
