Hi There
I have Perforce 2010.2, and a FishEye 2.7.12.
I'm quite surprised to see the requests sent to Perforce to update FishEye. it seems there are different kind of requests.
2012/11/07 01:45:18 pid 15930 fisheye_he@chx-atlcorp-02 10.0.52.192 [p4/2010.2/LINUX26X86_64/295040] 'user-changes -m 1 -s submitted //HEP/...'
2012/11/07 10:04:24 pid 31804 fisheye_he@chx-atlcorp-02 10.0.52.192 [p4/2010.2/LINUX26X86_64/295040] 'user-changes //HEP/...@962119,962151'
Thus, it seems sometimes only the last submission is requested, sometimes a range of submissions (962119,962151).
I cannot figure out how these requests come from the configuration I have.
From what I can see, it could be:
- at 01:45, FishEye asks for knowing the current last revision
- at 10:04, from the information received, it asks for the delta between its stored information and the current info at 01:45
But that'd mean that the information would be synchronized once a day; and it doesn't seem to be so...
Any clue is welcome.
There must be more requests like the first one -- by default, Fisheye polls for updates every minute.
