Exciting news, in case you missed the announcement at Team Europe 25. Atlassian is opening up the Teamwork Graph via Forge, enabling customers and partners to to connect custom data sources to the graph.
Hello Atlassian Community!
Today, teams are collaborating across more than 660 apps to get work done, each one of them creating their own data and knowledge siloes which pose a huge threat to effective teamwork and collaboration.
To solve this issue, Atlassian has been steadily investing in the Teamwork Graph, our platform’s data intelligence layer which relates work and understands connections related to your teams, projects, goals and knowledge.
At the time of writing, the Teamwork Graph tracks over 100B objects and relationships across Atlassian and third-party tools, and continues to grow. It’s this connected knowledge is what enables Atlassian to cross the data siloes that exist in your organization.
However, it’s clear that the full potential of the graph will never be complete until it includes data from all of the critical apps where your teams work. That’s why we’ve opened up the Teamwork Graph, enabling partners and customers to shape and customize leveraging the Forge Developer Platform.
Unlike other knowledge graphs that merely aggregate data, the Teamwork Graph not only understands the data, but also it’s relationship to who you are, what you do, and the everyday rhythms your work.
The graph establishes a unified data model; one which acts as a foundational layer for platform experiences across Chat, Search, Agents, Analytics, Automation, and the Atlassian Portfolio. And, as your business, context and needs evolve, so does the graph to unlock more relevant, more cohesive app experiences across your teams and workflows.
Learn more about which experiences the Teamwork Graph is already powering today.
By opening up the Teamwork Graph, Atlassian customers and ecosystem partners can extend and enrich this unified data model, creating new possibilities for to connect, build, and tailor their own unique system of work.
For example, developers can now build:
Today, Atlassian currently supports ~100 marketplace and third-party connectors that bring rich data into the graph, And, while these out of the box connectors meet many needs, with the ingenuity of the developer community, we can bridge the gap for even the most specialized data sources.
Teamwork Graph connectors enable developers and customers to import external data from various sources, including SaaS applications, legacy systems, and custom tools, into the Teamwork Graph. This integration makes the data from these sources accessible across various Atlassian experiences such as Rovo, Search, Chat, dashboards, and more. Additionally, developers can create SmartLinks to enhance links from external systems, providing smart previews and establishing relationships within Atlassian apps.
Partner developed Teamwork Graph connectors
In the future, partners and developers will be able to build custom applications with the Teamwork Graph API. This enables custom apps to access and act on Teamwork Graph data, creating new experiences in areas such as search, chat, dashboards, analytics, incident consolidation and more.
The Teamwork Graph API utilizes data in the graph from both Atlassian products, and third party connectors, unlocking powerful cross-app use cases. Developers and customers can also use this API to customize Forge Modules for frequently used Atlassian apps and surfaces (i.e. Confluence, Jira).
AI-powered agents that reason over the Teamwork Graph can be created, suggesting actions, automating workflows, or answering questions — and additionally, teams will be able to trigger automations based on changes or relationships in the graph, such as creating a Jira issue and notifying the team when a critical incident is opened in PagerDuty.
Build custom apps and agents with rich Teamwork Graph data
Following our announcements at Team EU, developers and partners can join our early access partners Unito and Pio, who have already gotten started on building Teamwork Graph connectors, for Hubspot, Basecamp, ServiceNow, Wrike, Salesforce, Gitbook, AWS S3, and more.

Or, if customers or partners are interested in consuming the rich tapestry of data available via the Teamwork Graph API build new custom applications and agents, you can click here to signup for our waitlist.
We’re excited to take this major step to enable the wider Atlassian ecosystem to extend and enrich the Teamwork Graph. Whether you’re aiming to create new Teamwork Graph connectors, Rovo Agents, or entirely new apps and experiences, we can’t wait to see how it helps to unleash the potential of every team.
Here’s to shaping the future of Teamwork — together!
