Bitbucket apis are throwing 429 errors intermittently

Hi, 
Can someone help me on solving the issue of getting too many 429 errors on bitbucket APIs?

'Rate limit for this resource has been exceeded'

I'm only calling the APIs around 5-6 max from multiple repos. But still getting the same error so intermittently repo-wise.

It just started happening for me too. Seems like it's probably rate limited. I'm handling plugin updates through BitBucket so now my customers are complaining that my updates are broken.
