Performance Insights (Beta) for Data Center : See how your instances really perform

Diagnosing performance problems in Data Center is difficult. Your existing monitoring tools can tell you something is wrong, but not necessarily why, or what your users are actually experiencing. And when you're managing multiple instances, it gets harder. Is the slowdown isolated to one instance, or is something affecting several? Is it an app, a configuration, or an infrastructure issue? Today, answering those questions means switching between tools and piecing things together manually.
Performance Insights gives you that clarity in one place, available through Portfolio Insights. It brings together performance health across all your connected Jira and Confluence Data Center instances, so you can see how each one is doing, compare across your environment, and understand whether an issue is local to one instance or showing up across many.
What's Performance Insights
Think of it as a doctor's dashboard for your Data Center environment. A real-time, scored view of how your instances are performing from the perspective that matters most: your end users' experience.
You'll see:

Apdex-based performance health scores for key user experiences like issue view, board view, backlog, dashboard view, create page, publish page, and more

Overall health status and historical trends across 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or a custom time range

Cross-instance visibility so you can compare performance across your environment and quickly tell whether a problem is specific to one instance or a pattern across several

Actionable recommendations tailored to each instance's configuration, for example, identifying Marketplace apps with unusually high database usage that may be putting pressure on your system
* Recommendations are live today for Jira Data Center, with Confluence recommendations coming soon. We're also expanding the types of recommendations over the coming weeks. What you see today is a starting point, and it will keep getting better as we add more coverage and depth.
Availability
We're rolling out Performance Insights gradually this week, starting with 25% of connected instances and expanding to 100% by the end of the week. If you don't see it right away, you will shortly.

Connect your instances to Portfolio Insights if you haven't done so yet.

Once connected, navigate to the Performance tab to see your new performance dashboard.

Review your Performance scores and start with the highest-impact recommendations.
