It does not matter if I click the macro header top-left, or the "Edit" pencil icon below the ToC area, there appears no Configuration panel at all.
Instruction says:
> Select the Edit icon to open the configuration panel.
but as there is no panel, I can't configure my ToC.
Does anyone recognize this problem? Any workarounds or solutions?
I'm using FF 135.0.1 (64-bit) with uBlock disabled, If have used the feature before and it worked, so I doubt if the problem is in my browser setup, but I'm open for suggestions.
(btw the problem also exists in:
Microsoft Edge for Business 134.0.3124.51 (Official build) (64-bit)
Googe Chrome version 134.0.6998.35 (Official Build) (32-bit))
@Ferrie Bank Welcome to the community.
I am using Microsoft Edge for Business Version 133.0.3065.92 (Official build) (64-bit), and, when I click in a ToC macro and then select the edit icon, the Table of contents configuration panel pops open on the right side of the screen.
When I went to check my browser version, it automatically started an update and wants me to restart Edge to finish updating. I have so many browser tabs open at the moment, though, that I'm not ready to do that right now to check out if it makes a difference. I am locked down to using Edge, so I can't speak to other browsers.
There are standard things to try to resolve possible browser issues—clear cache, disable add-ons, etc. You can refer to the Browser Troubleshooting Guide for more info.
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll give the guide a look and report back.

@Ferrie Bank Someone else reported something similar later yesterday for another macro, but said that it worked later. I don't know if it was somehow related to the issue with editing or maybe they restarted their computer over night. You might want to check again to see if it has somehow sorted itself out for you.

@Barbara Szczesniak I tried it just now, and it does indeed work again :-)
Thx for the heads up!
I guess we can consider this case closed.
Best regards,
Ferrie
