We can display a PDF on a page just fine - appears as a thumbnail until activated, then displays. The TOC works fine, internal links (xrefs) work fine.
However - we would really like to have the bookmarks visible, Right now, the only way to see bookmarks is to download the file and open it in the Acrobat app. (Acrobat browser view doesn't show bookmarks either).
Thoughts?
The PDF is an alternate to embedding or importing Word files which each have their own limitations/issues. (xrefs not working, graphics issues)
Thanks!
Jay
@Jay Maechtlen I believe bookmarks require the acrobat application to render. This means that Confluence, even when it displays the PDF, will not have bookmarks visible in the applciation.
I kind of feared that was true.
In concept, someone could parse the PDF to pull and display the bookmarks, but I'm sure there are lots of higher priority projects for anyone having that kind of ability.
Thanks!
