i setup a space to one of our team.
i setup a group to every users of that team
i give the group permission of access to that space only.
everything is good except one issue
in this space's page, we sometime insert a jira ticket link, which will show the status of the ticket in the page. this works for me, because i have access to that jira project. BUT, not working for the group because the group has no access to that jira project.
is there a way to make the jira link still working with status without giving the group access to that jira project?
If you can't see something, there's no reason to link to it, you're just putting in dead links. So, no, there's no (logical, let alone technical) way to make a dead link into a live one without granting access to it.
thanks.
if i give the group access to that jira project, is there a way i can limite the permission to just give them the very minimum permission access?

Yes, I would just grant them "browse project". That lets them see the issue without opening anything else up to them.
