As of this week, the "Recent updates macro" has stopped working; it no longer displays any content.
I’ve determined that the issue seems to be related to the number of spaces.
Until recently, four spaces were configured, and content from all four was displayed.
Now, it simply shows "No updates yet."
If I remove three of the four spaces—it doesn't matter which ones—the preview displays content again; essentially, it only works when a single space is configured.
Since it used to work and the system allows multiple spaces to be selected, I assume there is a bug in the macro or an underlying service.
Are you aware of any reports regarding this?

Hello and Welcome to Atlassian Community @Sebastian Spitzer _Site-Admin_
Before opening a support ticket, I recommend running a few quick isolation checks.
Publish the page to see if this is just a preview glitch, and try recreating the macro from scratch on a completely new test page.
Test the behavior across two spaces, then expand to three or four, and have another user with full space access verify what they see.
Make sure the target spaces actually contain recently updated content and try clearing out any other macro filters.
If a fresh macro on new page still fails, it points to backend indexing issue that the Community can't resolve, and you should raise a ticket with Atlassian Support.

Hi @Arkadiusz Wroblewski , thanks for your Feedback!
Yes, I’ve already tried all those steps.
I had already enlisted Rovo’s help and conducted a very thorough preliminary analysis.
Everything points to an error in the macro or the backend service.
I have therefore created ticket JST-1318596.
It also includes a link to this community post.
I’ll keep you posted on how things progress.
Greetings,
Spitz

Yeah, I recently ran into some trouble with Confluence myself.
Sometimes someone from Atlassian really needs to check things from the backend.
