"Unexpected character encountered while parsing value" error with Ceptah

I am attempting to connect MS Project to JIRA using the Ceptah bridge and I am receiving the error "Unexpected character encountered while parsing value: <. Path ", line 0, position 0." when testing the connection. Any idea why? We're using the URL https://deliverybackbone.amr.kpmg.com.

I am not sure, the correct place to start investigate is   https://deliverybackbone.amr.kpmg.com.

Unfortunately, it is so hard without detail understand the problem
