Hello everyone,
We've just upgrade Confluence Data Center to a newer version that has Audit Logs for confluence.
Actually, we would like to know why this author "anonymous" is displayed in the audit logs, and why the action that he has attached is always "User details updated".
I add a screenshot:
Thank you so much!
Any solution to this problem? I am seeing the same problem since 2021
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Not unless you're willing to write an app that can extract the information from your remote directory (bearing in mind you're asking it to record data about people who may not be Jira users) and apply it to the audit logs (while avoiding compromising GDPR/privacy problems)

This usually means that you are using external user management, so it's recording when users and groups are changed in there. It can't know who makes those changes, Confluence doesn't have admin access to your external user management!

Hi @Ana Martinez Arroyo welcome to the Atlassian community.
It looks strange with a sudden "Anonymous" display. Seems like "Anonymous" is nothing but the confluence system itself and not an outsider (that author might have moved out of the organization to my belief).
However, I would request to reach out the Atlassian support team with the screenshot and logs you might have access to for a quick check.
