problem with variant url segment in multiple docs published to the same viewport site

i am using confluence cloud and using the plugin variant for sccroll documents. - 1 month trial.

 wanted to know if i can use same variant url segment for more than 3 scroll documents published to same viewport site. 

I am not able to use the same default url segment to link to my doc site for more than 2 documents. Need some help.

Hi @dipti.parande 

Each content source, whether a Scroll Document or a Space) must have a unique URL segment on a single Viewport site.

The hierarchy is content source -> version -> variant.

So in this example:

https://universal-imports.scrollhelp.site/datasink/Working-version/windows/

we have:

datasink -> working version -> windows

or

https://universal-imports.scrollhelp.site/easy-rockets/home/moon/

easy-rockets -> home -> moon

I could replace HOME with WORKING VERSION, but the content source must be unique.

You can easily edit any part of the hierarchy:

Welcome to the community.

Contact the developer of the app on their support on portal as it relates to the apps functionality.

As you mention you can use 2 variants, but not 3, so probable this is not an option in the 3rd party app and as the function is with the 3rd party app, it's not something that Confluence can offer.
