Hi,
We have some openwiki pages and would like to migrate to confluence, please advice how can we do it
There isn't a simple answer to that question. If you have a in-house development team with expertise in data migrations, you could consider having them develop you a custom converter and migration process utilizing the Universal Wiki Converter tool. There isn't an openwiki module already, but that tool is open-source and extensible, and using it might cut down on some of the work.
If you do not have a team with expertise in custom migrations, please consider the following:
Confluence migrations – like all migrations – are highly dependent on content, context, syntax, environments, from-system parameters, and even human-input – and so providing a blanket solution answer is difficult.
We suggest this checklist as a first review of your systems – and how to plan and progress forward on what development might be required to best automate this effort and mitigate risk.
If you are thinking of using the UWC, please note: Confluence 4 UWC updates to support this release are in active review as I write. Please contact migrations@appfusions.com for more details.
