@mention restricted page

Hi, 

After publishing the page, I first set the page as restricted. If I later unrestrict the page, do all @mentioned users get notified?

@Grace Li Welcome to the Atlassian Community. 

Users that are @ mentioned on a page will only be notified when you initially publish the page, but subsequent changes to the page content or permissions (in your case, unrestricting the page) will not notify them of the change. In this case, since the users are restricted when you first publish, they won't be notified of the page. 

You share the page with them when you un-restrict it if you want them to be notified of the page, but other than that, the page will remain unknown to them unless you manually inform them of its presence.
