login as admin

Harry Pieterse October 8, 2015

I've resintalled confluence on a test system that has also JIRA installed.

Initially JIRA and conflence were llinked and using our Active Directory for authentication.

For some reason Concluence was not working so I removed is using the deinstall script.

Then I resinstalled confluence.

Now I'm not able to login into confluence even thoud the installation was without errors.

How can I fix this or create an additional admin account that is working as a non AD user?

Hi Hary,

In this case, we'll need to authenticate to Confluence using the internal administrator. This user should already exist, so we can restore the user password. In case you don't find the user, we can also create a new internal administrator user.

All the instructions for both procedures are located here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Restore+Passwords+To+Recover+Admin+User+Rights

Thanks!

Regards,
LM
