Hi!
I'm creating a link on a page which links to a certain heading in the page. In edit mode and preview it works perfectly fine, but when I publish the page the link becomes # instead of whatever I've put in.
In fact, I've tried to create a bunch of links in exactly the same way, yet some of those works and some just disappear.
As of record I seem to have seen similar questions in community dated back to 2016, and none of the answers work fine for me. Could somebody look into this for me as it is really urgent, thanks!
If your links contains special characters or if it's a long link, adding link method won't work
Here's a bug request on the same
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-24320
Copy and paste the link and then edit the visible text, it will save!!
Let me know
Thanks,
Pramodh
Thanks so much for your reply!
About what's in that bug request, I believe that Google URL shortener has stopped its service and other similar commercial software all require signing ups.
Yet the copy and paste links and then edit the visible text method really works! Thanks so much for your help and now I'm able to post everything correctly.
Wish you a pleasant day!

What do we mean by edit the "visible text"? Like change the text where you want the link to be embedded? What if you just want to post the full, basic link?
I can't seem to do either, embed the link within text (edited after pasting) or as a simple link.
