we want to allow our customers to access our documentation and have them sign up - do we need to to pay/license that feature :

Thank you for the warm wishes, but I am not sure how to estimate in advance the cost of self register users that can only have read only access

Atlassian tools generally scale with user additions. If you enable self-signup, you'll see pricing go up as your number of users scales. You can always check the billing section of your settings to see an estimate of where you're at currently.

Thank you for your prompt response - we wanted to allow our customers' users access to our library of documents, and wanted them to register, they will not be part of internal team and will not be able to modify or collaborate - i thought the self register will support that workflow with minimal/or no charge - i dont see such option :-(
