i can't access my confluence page.

Hi,

I heard that free plan sites get deleted after a certain period of inactivity — is that what happened to mine?

If there's any way to restore it, I'd really appreciate your help. It had my swimming training data on it, which I'd love to recover if at all possible.

Hi @KJ 

I can see some emails about inactivity and deactivation for a site, with a deactivation date "2025-11-21", so I'm assuming this is the site you are looking for more information. (We're not sharing the address/emails details since it is a public forum).

Unfortunately, we are not able to recover your data.

As mentioned by Tomislav, we have our documentation with more information on what happens with Free plans, but in short, indeed, there is an inactivity time that the Free site/product can be inactive and you need to access the site regularly to make sure it won't be deactivated.
We also send emails to remind you to access it and when it would be deactivated to give you some time in advance.

In the event you were not able to access the content in time, we highly recommend taking regular backups of your data, to make sure you have it, even if you need to create a new site/product.

Hi @KJ ,

Atlassian has data retention policies when it comes to free sites. You can read more about that here: Track storage and move data across apps / What happens to Free plan apps if they're inactive for too long? 

On top of what Kai said (in case it's relatively urgent or no one chimes in here), you should be able to support a ticket for licensing and site status through here: Atlassian Support: Pricing, Billing & Licensing
