Hi Community,
I’m looking for a way to save filters in Confluence Data Center — similar to how Jira lets us save issue filters for quick reuse.
Right now, whenever we search or filter pages/spaces in Confluence (using labels, contributors, dates, etc.), we have to manually recreate the search each time. It would be extremely helpful if Confluence DC had a built-in option to:
Save a search/filter configuration
Reuse saved filters quickly
Does Confluence DC have any native feature, app, or workaround that supports this?
Hey @Kiran Shahzadi 😊 welcome
Confluence Data Center doesn’t have a native feature like Jira’s “Saved Filters” for searches. The built-in search lets you apply filters (space, label, contributor, date, etc.), but there’s no official way to save those configurations for reuse.
Here’s what you can do instead:
Bookmark the CQL search URL
When you run an advanced search in Confluence, the URL contains your query and filters. You can copy that URL and save it as a browser bookmark. Next time, just click the bookmark and you’ll get the same filtered results instantly. This is the simplest workaround and works without any add-ons.
Use a Marketplace app
If you want something more user-friendly, there are apps that add “Saved Searches” functionality:
Search Results | Atlassian Marketplace
Macros for custom search pages
If you have recurring queries, you can embed a Livesearch Macro (native) or CQL Search Macro (scriptrunner for Confluence) on a Confluence page. This way, you create a “search hub” page with predefined filters that anyone can reuse.
Bottom line:

Hope this helps!
