To grant access to a restricted page:
Which email is it referring to ?
When someone asks for access to a page, it emails the people who have the right to grant it.
unfortunately, when the user request access, the message/page doesn't give him the possibility to select the option "request access". It just tell him "you don't have the permission to view this page" ... because it's inheriting restrictions from the page from a parent page ...

I'm sorry, I thought the question was about the mention of the email.
To grant them access, you will need to log in as someone who can manage restrictions in the space, go up to the top-level page that is blocking access, and edit the restrictions on that, adding this new person in to the list of people who can see the page and its children. You may need to repeat that if there are other restrictions on higher pages.
