linux64 server
i getting message
Make sure that the port 8091 of your server is available, Synchrony uses it. You can try to disable your firewall during debug (don't forget to disable selinux too if you're using CentOS/RHEL). Or, you can make other port available (in addition to main Confluence service port) and override it with the -Dreza.port=XXXX within Java settings.
If this doesn't help, you can temporarily disable collaborative editing mode (Administration => Collaborative Editing) until you find the root cause of the issue.
I can make more suggestions if you share some details about your installation:

Sadly, I'm having the same symptoms and I'm not getting very far with it. On its own it does actually work fine - installed Confluence and have it all working on a local server. But as soon as I try to put it behind a proxy, it fails, and won't tell me why.
