custom metadata and queries

Hi,

I'd like to create a catalogue of pages, where each page should have a set of meta-data-fields. Next I'd like to be able to query the metadata and retrieve a list of pages that match my criteria.

The editing process for the catalogue pages should be "wiki-like": anyone can edit, history will reveal who changed what, internal setup of a page is "unstructured" - just the meta-data fields are prescribed.

This is possible in other wiki-engines (mediawiki).

Is this possible out of the box in confluence cloud, are there suitable addons, can we script it ourselves?

I think the answer is "page properties" - too simple !
