We used the «create from template macro» for a long time in templates. Now (Confluence Cloud) it seems as it is mandatory, to specify a Space, where the page is being created, when pressing the “create from template button”.
This is a problem for us, as we used the macro in global templates (copy the configured macro from a normal page to the template). As we have to specify a space, this is no longer possible ☹
Is it really intended, that a space has to be defined?
What is the reason that a space has to be named? Why is it not possible, to simply add the new page as the child page to the page, where the macro is located?
Or did I simply miss a certain keyword (e.g. “@self”)?
