Hi,
I've edited the page and made many revisions of it. Meanwhile, another person edited it and now only his changes (older more than two days compared to changes I've made) are visible and there is even no record in the history log of my revisions after his edits.
Additionally, there is "UNPUBLISHED CHANGES" banner, but the content from the history log is out-dated (my recent changes missing - seems like changes made after another person edited the page).
I'm turning PC every day off and next day I got up.to-date content back till... ??
How could that happen? (I'd like to understand the issue to avoid it in the future)
Thanks in advance for any feedback
@Damjan Zemljič I just noticed that your question is tagged with Server, so my answer below about how it works in Cloud may not apply, but I already typed it all in, so I'll post it in case it helps point you to a resolution.
In Cloud:
The UNPUBLISHED CHANGES banner means that changes have been made to the page since the last time the page was published.
When you made your changes, did you publish the page or simply close it? I don't think other users see the changes until you publish. I also don't think that the changes are added to the page history until you publish.
Your updates are saved as you type, so, even if you just closed it, YOU should see the changes when you view the page.
As I said, I don't know if this works the same way in Server.
Based on your description, it could well be that this person made a copy of the page and you are looking at his copy of the page.
If you search can you find your page?

Let you admin check the audit log in Confluence and log files on the server, if you are not able to do so yourself.
Also the Confluence admin could re-create the confluence index if needed, their might be an issue with the index.
Also ask the other person who made edit what the actions where done by this person?

thank you very much. I think that would be it (got an information some migration was done and I'm not the only one missing the content...)
