Nice if i see this ask a question page, you use a text box with a border to organize information belonging to each-other, how can i do that in the cloud version. No backgroud color but just a border to distinguish different sets of information on a page.
@Paul Wijnen In Cloud, I do this with a table, which gives you a border around each cell. So I have places with a table with 1 cell that contains a lot of information. You can insert panel macros, lists, images, etc. within the table cell. Only issue with this is the recent table feature update that makes all tables centered on the page.
Another option you can use is to insert a horizontal line between paragraphs of content (type /divider or select the Divider macro in the + button list on the editor toolbar). This only gives you a line above/below your content, but may suit your purposes.
Thanks for the info, found that way already. Still coming from server, the ease of the {panel} macro vs using the table is a big difference i need to strip the preset table down. And it is restricted in colors disign etc. I dont really understand that a visual tool for collaboration is so restricted in its base to set up panels around info, even on this page, the setup with panels for the upcomming events etc is used.
I will use the free app, if i can get it installed from central IT

Hi @Paul Wijnen
I agree with @Barbara Szczesniak
Otherwise you could try the free app, Refined Toolkit for Confluence Cloud.
The tab macros can be useful for your case as well.

I will look into these apps, hopefully product management of confluence will recognize the power of good setup in pages, to internally promote confluence we mentioned, the only restrictions are your own imagination, now i already get feedback that setting up pages is restricted in cloud, for commercial nice pages colleagues are starting to use sharepoint.
