attachment macro, how to use "release/ check in/ checkout" functions as I used before?

Hi There,

I usedto work a lot on confluence for project delivery documents(mainly MS office files) managemnt,

using attachment macro,

you can release/ check in/ checkout files, it is quite good on documents managment,

but I when I work in current company I can not find such functions:

I am wondering if someone can help.

Do you know if you've used any third-party/Marketplace addon or just a native attachments macro?
Also, when you say "release/check in" files, what exactly does that mean?

Native attachments macro is relatively basic, and there aren't that many configuration options for it (see the linked official docs).
