Workflow Notifications

I'm looking for a way to implement a sort of form on some confluence pages where when the people tagged "@" on that page approve it, someone else gets a notification of that outcome.
Example: There is configuration change that needs to be done on a client, an internal Confluence page is created to account for this change, what needs to be changed and why, when the page is created it also comes with a template table where two people are tagged to approve the change, and the person that's going to execute this change has to be notified when the change has been approved.
Right now the approval process is a bit improvised with emoji cross and check marks with the tagged person confirming whether they approve the change or not, however this does not provide any sort of way to create an automatic notification around it for the person that's going to execute it to be aware that it has been fully approved.
I'm aware that there are apps that can compliment Confluence and do this, however we really just want to get a final notification out of this whole process and it seems overkill to us to get an app just for this very specific feature. Is there a way inside Confluence to somehow create an automatic notification to the person that's supposed to execute the change after it has been approved?
