Will too much created pages (say 6000 pages) affect Confluence performance?

These pages don't have file attachments though, only texts and Jira issue ticket (macro), running on Jira server version.

Not unless you've got a really low amount of resources on the server running Confluence.

6,000 pages is something we'd class as "tiny"

What do you consider "low amount of resources?" Btw are you talking about registered users?

Sorry, "resources" is sometimes unclear.  When I use it I usually mean "hardware" - memory, disk space and CPU power, but I know it can often mean other things like people.

Have a look at https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/server-hardware-requirements-guide-30736403.html for an idea of how you want to think about scale.
