Why doesn't a JIRA Link button show up in JIRA when I create issues from a table in Confluence?

I'd like to create a group of stories from a table in Confluence, but when I do it doesn't create a JIRA Link button on the new stories JIRA creates.  Can someone tell me why this isn't supported?

I created some JIRA (version 7.3.3.) issues from a table in Confluence 6.1 and it did add JIRA links at the top of the Confluence page. A link was also added to each JIRA issue, pointing back to the Confluence page.

Please let us know what versions you are using and clarify whether the link that does not appear as expected is on the Confluence page or in the JIRA issue. (You mention the links don't show in JIRA but if they are JIRA links they would be expected to be in Confluence.)
