Why does "rate limit reached" suddenly occur in a page?

Hi there,

a question to confluence performance:

On a page (we used already longer time) suddenly the message "Rate limit reached. Wait a minute or so while the system resets, refreh the pge, and try again" is shown.

Why?

We are using filters to jira server and a lot of formulas using latex - can this be the root cause?

Hi Andreas, here's an article I found from Atlassian regarding Rate Limiting.  Rate Limiting 

From reading that article, it would appear that 'a lot of formulas' could be impacting it.  It might be worth looking into possibly processing that data in a different manner.

There's 2 Conf Cloud tickets mentioned in that article, might be worth voting for and watching.
