Why does \\ in folder paths turn into \

We have had this issues for some weeks now. 

Everytime we have a folder path like: 

\\c69n056\capital\Data\Equity......

On the Confluence page, the first "\" disappear, so it appears as: 

\c69n056\capital\Data\Equity......

It I go back to edit mode, I can see, that there are 2 "\"'s. So it is only in non-edit-mode, that the first "\" disappear.

It is quite annoying, since we cannot copy and open the folderpaths unless there are two "\"'s.

I think you are seeing the escape character.
