Why do I have old editor for one page and new editor for the rest?

I just received access to my new firm's Confluence instance and created a space. Now, I think what happened is that I created my first page and had started my second one when I was prompted to switch to the new editor. I made subsequent pages using the new one.

So on the first page, I went back and added a {panel} element. However, this apparently is not an available option for any of my other pages! WTF?

Is there a way to have Panels in the new editor? If not, Atlassian should enable rollback ASAP. Doing a one-way switch before the new one is feature complete was not a wise move.

Is Atlassian going to clean this up in the near future? I sure hope so. Because I came to this new job to evangelize Confluence, and now my confidence has been shaken.

And I don't want to hear about a "workaround" using a table cell. I want to just type {panel} and be done with it.
